Steelhead Fly Fishing, by Trey Combs. The book is full of history and steelhead obsession. The chapter on the Rogue alone, is worth its weight in gold. Ever heard of Zane Grey and his expedition down the Rogue in 1925? Grey wrote a book about the adventure called Tales of Fresh Water Fishing in 1928 when steelhead fly fishing was in its infancy.

+1 more for Trey Combs book. Just a good all rounder of all the important subjects and histories.
