Not sure Ernie, To many good chironomid waters fairly close like Diamond Lake, Agency/Klamath Lake ad Crane Prairie. Sounds like you have Crowley wired!

I may be there the weekend of July 13/14. I'm not sure that the fishing will still be read hot, maybe the algae will have gotten bad by then. I can't make it up any sooner unfortunately!

Bill, the best chironomid months at Crowley are May thru September. Even when the perch fry are out in the summer and the fish are keying in on them the midges are still one of the best ways to fish Crowley.

Let me know if your in the area Bill and lets take a trip out on Crowley. I would love to show you how good this lake is. 2nd in the state only to Eagle in my opinion

It will still be good. The algae is a factor but if you have a good wind it will push it right out of the area and you will have very clean water.

If you need any help or have any questions give me a call and I will help you.
