Bob B from Oakdale, Ca. hooked his first ever shad today on my boat using a new Redington Link 7wt. with a Galvan Spoke reel connected to Rio Quickshooter running line with a T-8 Head and a Phil Ryan Shad Dart in orange on the end. SICK shad set up !!! A fat Feather River almost 5 pounder. He is "Hooked" !

Congrats to Bob and yourself on that baby tarpon. I think that may be a first on the Feather. Was it a reel screamer? The bigger ones will make some noise sometimes.Good for you guys.
