    Default Caddisfly Jewels

A friend told me about this a while ago but just sent it. Hope you haven't seen it yet. Caddisflies are remarkable for their cases they build during their larval stage. Even the ones they naturally build are amazing. But here an artist used actual jewels in the bottom of a tank and the Caddisfly just used what it had and created a remarkable piece of art. (albeit wierd)

I hope you find it as interesting as I did.

    That is awesome.

And, of course, being the craven Capitalist that I am, I wonder if these creations would hold up and be able to be sold as jewelry? After the bug hatches and the case is no longer needed.

    Thumbs up Caddis....

Amazing stuff!! What a creative idea. I'll bet those caddis were really buffed up after toting around all that gold.
