    Default Tenkara Summer for me

This is going to be the summer when I give Tenkara a try. I enjoy fishing small streams, and considering that I plan on fishing for Goldens and Brookies in the higher elevations this summer I think that Tenkara will make my trips to the high country even more interesting.

We have plans on bringing in a TFO Tenkara rod or two this year to broaden our fly fishing selection. Can anyone suggest a Tenkara rod or two that we might want to carry?

Is anyone else going to try Tenkara this season?

I've only used TenkaraUSA rods. Very happy with them and their customer service is excellent.

I also have a Tenkara USA rod and am very happy with it. This is a great, responsive, local company -- hope you will consider carrying their gear.

Was thinking of doing the same thing this summer, but haven't picked out a rod yet.

I too will be having a Tenkura summer. I finally picked one up and will be using it exclusively this summer. Can't wait to take it to Glacier.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

I can't help but compare tenkara to the "snuggie." Their fadulous. Sorry, had to go there.

You aren't alone, but to each their own.
