We're looking for a new place to store our fishing boat.
We want some place within reasonable distance to frank's tract.
We're considering beacon harbor marina.
Has anyone used them or have any feedback on them?
thanks,
steve

Have you tried Sugar Barge at Franks Tract, that is where Dan Blanton keeps his boat as well as a bunch of other people.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Steve,
I agree with Scott. Give the Sugar Barge a call or go on-line to their website and check out their boat storage rates - dry and wet slip. The Sugar Barge has long supported the delta fly-fishing community, hosting our Striperfest for more than a decade. If you go to my website and click on the Travel Resources link and then on the Sugar Barge Specials link, you'll get details on SB discounts. http://www.danblanton.com/fly-fishin...es-2012-13.pdf
The Sugar Barge Resort and Marina is right on Piper Slough bordering the west side of Franks Track. Security is also very good at the SB and the people are fantastic.

Late to this thread. If I had to choose between Sugar Barge and Beacon Harbor, I'd go with Sugar Barge. I stored my boat at Beacon Harbor for a few months, and more than a few at Sugar Barge. Sugar Barge is a nicer facility, a little more secure, and very nice folks. Office, security, and marina staff are all helpful and friendly. Beacon Harbor has/had a very friendly and helpful girl in the office, but did not have the grounds support that Sugar Barge has.
Hope this helps.
