Default Al bars in the snow

Quickest way to gain 3 or 4 inches of height is to use felt-soled wading boots in the snow. I'm wondering if any
Kiene reader has used the boots with Al bars in the snow. I don't think snow would cling to them; but, would like
    anecdotal confirmation. Thanks, and
    Best,

Well, while I was in Germany I bought a pair of the rubber shoes that were fitted with aluminum bars. They worked great in the water and on ice. However, they did build up snow just like felt...but could have been because of tread design. Perhaps the new rubber soles with spikes might be a better idea??
