Trick or Mahi?

aloah , played hookey from school and went offshore. Got this 60lb bull on light tackle. Epic battle, 3/0 hook right in the lip so the 40lb leader was not an issue.

It was good fun and we had lots of more action, couldn't get any on the flyrod. Hope you all had a good Halloween! Mems.

Aloha Don,.... I'm jealous!!! Whadda Mahi ya got there!!! Too bad it wasn't on a fly, tho. I'm jealous of being able to wear shorts/T-shorts now, also. We're just starting cool weather here. Not bad but cool enough that us old guys have to put away our beach clothes....

Thanks guys, had coconut tempura mahi tonight for dinner, pretty good with fresh lilikoi sauce. The bouys are loaded with mahi right now. Might go out on tuesday, since I voted absentee. I will post some pics, hepefully get some on the fly, take care, Don.
