The river is fishing well for nice sized fish. I did the Granite Bay clinic for some eager souls on Sat. and fished with some of them later in the day. Lots of fish, some over 20"--all wild fish, not those clods that the city put in the river at the city park.

Flies that worked best: Bill's Stick Caddis, size 6 or 8; Hogan's S & M, size 18; green rockworm patterns; PT soft hackle, size 16.
