We are going to fish the Feather tomorrow, would like to launch at Gridley and head up. Is there a boat ramp in Gridley or close by? Never launched in that area, have a jet sled, any advice?

There is a very nice Boat Ramp in Gridley... You will need a Key to get Through the gate to get to the ramp...Keys are available to Residents (Locals) at City Hall....

Gridley ramp under repair
Ramp/launch area is being redone. They plan to reopen Nov 1 and will be using a card access system. You can launch a sled off Vance Ave but it's risky leaving your car unattended in that area. Good luck.

We launched at Live Oak and headed up. Fished up to the afterbay. Lots of Salmon, guy's were catching them left and right. We had no luck on the Steelies and No Bow's either. First time skunked on the feather. The good news is we found several places to launch a lot closer. Will use them next time
