Default Streams in Montana from David Armocido

The fishing here has been very good this summer, went to Rock Creek yesterday, landed 50+ with dries, water temp was very good and the weather was simply beautiful, leaves just starting to fall, 80 degrees! Susie and I went to Fish Creek three days ago and had a beautiful day, wter temps good, clear day, 77 degrees.

I have attached a few fish pics!

Would very much like to see you guys soon.

    David

Very nice Bill. I fished Fish Creek 2 summers ago just to take a break from my usual haunts. Had a nice day on the water. Got major twisted up on the service roads going in from Lolo Pass, but I suppose you could get lost in an uglier setting.

When I finally retire from teaching I would like to do the same as David and Susie.

    Default Montana

Aloha, love Rock Creek, 50 miles of wading joy. Fall is great there, low water, October Caddis, and big doo-doo browns headed up from the Clark fork to spawn. Check out Fisherman's Mercantile, great little shop. Montana is trout fishing at its best, Mems.

Default All of the above is...

    puuuuure fiction.

Private property the whole length...no access, no turn arounds, no pull offs, no gas, no bathrooms, no Starbux, no 7-11's, no phone reception, no fish either...trigger happy locals!

Not worth the drive, 50 miles of single lane washboard, 4x4 only(with at least 32inchers and a winch), lions, tigers and bears, angry moose, ticks, snow, wind, rain, rock slides, lightening, floods, pestilence, locusts, banjo playing savants...many more dangers!

    Should I keep going...?

    How does one define "TMI"?

Oooh! Oooh! Don't forget the poisonous snakes, poison oak, poison ivy, poison sumac, stinging nettles, carnivorous plants...and sharks! Yeah...great white river sharks that EAT wading anglers whole!

Rock Creek is a horrible, dangerous place to be avoided at all costs!
