Hi everyone. I just saw that the flows on the T should be coming down the last week of September. Anyone have any thoughts and/or experiences that they'd like to share about this time of the season?

Obviously, fish numbers won't be high, but the fish that will be in the lower or middle section should be bright and aggressive. Sounds like a good time to fish skaters!

The flows are going down to 450cfs. I wish they would keep them at that level and not drop them down to 300, later on. I think the river fishes so much better and has better holding water at that level.

Also the Salmon numbers are astronomical this year of the coast and in the Klamath. 1.6 million was the latest guess lately. I'm sure the salmon numbers on the T will be or are higher than usual. I wonder what effect this will have on the early steelhead season. The salmon seem to push the steelhead off the better holding lies as they travel.

see you out there,
Jimmy James
