    Nice fish!

Can you let me know at which lodge Jim stayed

I think Playa Blanca(sister lodge of Casa Blanca) is closed for summer(July-Sep).

That was at Paradise, Jim said they hit a once in a lifetime situation where right after a hurricane all of the big permit were stacked together. His boat partner got an even bigger fish.

Jim's guide told him that most people who hook those big ones usually loose them.

12# tippet is pretty light for over 30# Permit.

Big Permit need a really high tide to get up on the flats.
