    Default Silver Fork road warning!!!!!!

At about the 4.5 mark there are 2 big potholes right next to each other making it almost impossible to get around safely. They are of course hidden in the shade and my little Yaris did not like them. I hit all 4 tires and bent at least 2 rims from what I can see. Luckily the bends are not bad enough to cause the leak of air but I have to take my car in to be looked at. So be real careful.

Was up there Friday with my 18-year old daughter driving. Not only in the shade, but still half full of brown water from Monday's rain. Luckily she was driving very cautiously--her first time driving that narrow a mountain road--so we hit them slowly in my CR-V and did no apparent damage, but she was startled at how deep they were.

Hey I know how you always obey all speed limits, so it is lucky you didn't end up in the creek!

Did it look like the usual camp places were still there?
Also did you fish or go home? I know what I am betting on

I have no idea, I came in from 50, but I would be real surprised if it was not open.

Of course I fished, not fishing is like going to Disneyland and not going on a ride. It is a sin in my book. Nothing but topwater!

Fish was slow, but it was early in the day for topwater. I prefer the flows just a tad bit slower for my fishing style, another week or so and it will be red hot for me. Plenty of fish to be had though. either way, the Silver Fork is a little bit of heaven to me so if I catch fish it is only an added bonus.

    Default Silver Fork Road

Mike O, SFR is open all the way to MET. We drove out that way on Monday and came back down by Sly Park. First time I've gone out that end of SFR--nice drive.
