Default Thursday's Report from La Paz

The group just go back in from Las Arenas and from the looks of it with good results. It's about time it started to turn

All my boats headed north and found the sargasso grass that we found yesterday. From the photo's, it looks like they had a dorado day.

Richard Wright - Capt Efren holding the fish

Alan Nakamura holding a PG dorado

    Carey Nakamura & Capt Ramon

    Carey Nakamura

Jerry Nakamura holding a dorado 20+ pounds

    Mariscio with a dorado

Bill Lum with a dorado caught in the same area.

    Edwin Low with a dorado

Edwin Low with an amber jack

As you see the water conditions were fantastic, flat and hot. I believe there were no other
boats in the area but word got out (damn) and I'm sure we'll have company tomorrow.
Most if not all these fish were caught on crease flies or some sort of top water fly, no bait needed.
i stayed back today for acupuncture treatment but will be fishing tomorrow. Looks like the winds could start back up later in the morning. The forecast next week is for low winds and warmer temps.

Right before the group got back, Jonathan & I were sitting at the bar when all of a sudden the birds started diving off the floating dock at the sunset bar. There was a HUGE school of roosters busting bait. This last for a good 7 minutes, to far to run back to the room and way to far to cast and to deep to wade.

Tomorrow is the groups last day so I hope we can find the dorado again
