The next time your near a bridge crossing the delta or the Sac area and it has Swallow nest connected cast top water to it. I like a black deer hair with rabbit tail. The largest Sac Pike for me was 3-4 pounds. When my fly hit the tower then dropped to the water, I didn't even have a chance to strip and the bastard was on it!!

The more people I meet, the more I love my dog.

Gregg, I can move them a bit lower on your esteem meter, even though you think they're already on the floor.
I've found them lined up under the bridges with swallow nests feasting on the 'hatch' of bird poop raining down.
You can't make up sh't like that.
Mike, that's a cool video. That pike was all bussiness, no fuss no muss, just dinner.

Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Jake: Hit it.
Hey ed...
What fly did you use under the bridge...the cow dung?
Mike, Cache at any bridge above the casino. Any fly will do.
As long as your stomach can handle it.

Oh Man! That was great commentary! Life is savage huh?
The movement of the ducklings' feet and body in the water seemed to create a shimmering reflection. I wonder if that is an artifact of the video and/or viewing angle or something the pike actually sees?
