this was my biggest of last night, the rest were a little smaller. And yes they are pulling real hard.

My view from the island we were on. One of the main reason I fish.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

    Nice Scott...that is a Big'un!!!!

Me too...one of my favorite times on the A is watching the sun go down sitting on the bank. Gotta love a river like this being so close!

    Nice sunset shot.

21 this evening. Bloody Maria and Johnny Winter near dark. The dropping flow's making it hard to find a spot where you can get a good swing.

15 tonite. Bloody Maria and Johnny Winter with a Type 6 sink tip. The drop in flow changed things up quite a bit. Charlie Gonzales and Scott V fished across me! They were having too much fun!

I think I got about 6 or so and Charlie got a dozen or so. To hard to count when your spending most of the time laughing.

I think it's time to go wading for Shad on the Lower American River now.

Put your gear in the trunk and go after work.

The last hour is my favorite time.

June is usually the top month.

Great time to buy a two-handed outfit......

50 to the boat today. Bruce caught a 6 lb hen. Hot flies were the Bloody Maria and Johnny Winter with T-14. Went back out this evening and got 12. Same flies with Type 6 sink tip.
