So good to hear they have arrived in force.
So off the subject of numbers for a sec....what about quality? Any big hens? If so, how big? Any good fights? Reel screamers??

yesterday I was at the Walnut Orchard by Goethe park. I managed to get one on my line, but it broke me off I guess I need to work on my knots. I was using some pink & white fly that I somehow inherited. I was using about 2 oz of weight to keep the flies down near the rocks. Now I am freakin' hooked because of that brief encounter. I want more!!!
Brian Clemens was in the drfit boat.
Quite a few were big hens around 4 lbs. Bruce got one that was about 5 lbs. on Sunday. The fresh fish are fighting strong and diving deep right next to the boat. Hard to get them to the surface for the net even with a 7 wt. switch rod. As for runs, I wouldn't know because I rarely put them on the reel. I ching 'em all in! Bruce said the he should have gotten his camera out when I reeled one in on Sunday.
You put a shad on the reel Jeff????? Blasphemy!!!!
You are definitley the master at ching'in 'em in!!!
