Bruce said it was a slow day. Only 23 from his boat today.
nice post.. thanks
Caught 3 tonite and LDRed 2. Missed a bunch of grabs. Bruce got 12 from his boat today.
It s been a while... any recommendations for where to access the river just now to cast for shad from the bank?
thanks.
Jim
At 3000 cfs you can wade at any of the American River accesses. Watch out about parking at Rossmore or El Manto. Lots of break ins.
FYI A group of six guys were hooking fish at Upper Sunrise last nite. I watched for less than 5 minutes and at one point there was a triple hook up.
Get to whats reel
right on Jeff! Looks like I'll be trying my luck for shad after work very soon. Looking forward to your reports.
Considering break ins along the parkway have been a problem for as long as I can remember I wonder why law enforcement have not used some of the great portable surveillance technology available. Consider even the trail cams, if you were able to come up with a simple way to attach one quickly to a tree limb or other object well out of reach (extendable pole of some type maybe) it would at least get you a snapshot of the culprit. I believe most of these dirtbags are local and would be easy to find.
Floated the lower river with Bruce! It was slow! Only got one!
