Looking nice, seems almost time to stink it up with the sweet smell of fish.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Took the boat out today for its maiden voyage. Boat worked great. Stable enough to Stand up and fish. Didn't do any fly fishing just had our conventional gear. with me and my son it was fine with the spinning rods but fly fishing will have to be done with just one person in the boat. So far worth every bit of the $50 I have into it.

I am very jealous of your $50 boat. And that dolly is really nice.

Rafts & Cats use the following:
Distance between oarlocks x 1.5 = oar length.
    i.e. 72" @ oarlocks = 96" oar length

Most people have oars that are too short on most prams I have seen like 5 to 6 feet long.

These are going to probably be perfect......

Shig, my guess on weight is 50lbs. I would think you could car top it just fine. I have an s10 pickup so I just slide it in the bed. I keep it on a roll around jet ski cart and keep my trolling motor and gear in it. When I want to go fish I just slide it off the stand into my truck and off I go. The oars that are on it belong to my pontoon boat but at 6' they seem to be ok in length. The boat is only 43" wide at the oar locks. My brother and took it out Friday and it did fine. With the two of us and gear we had about 450 lbs in the boat.
