    Default New Species...

...on the fly! Cobia (aka lemonfish, ling, general badass), about 10 miles SE of Port Aransas, TX. 22#, pics to follow. Thanks, Brett (Oh yeah, about 8# of filets, and working on fish stock and croquettes right now!)

    Default Cobia pix

As mentioned before, here are a few pics of my first cobia "on the fly". We fished my buddy's new Beavertail BTX, and ran about 12 mile SE of Port Aransas. The pass was pretty calm (2:20PM), so we made the run, and were well rewarded for our efforts! Four cobia landed, and three in the box! Thanks, Brett

I love adding new species to the list of caught fish. I hope to do that when I am in Florida next month.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

    Say hey Brett,

After looking at your pics it hit me, you know how they say dog owners and their dogs look like each other? Well.......... heck I'm "Just saying!!!!!!!" Bustin' your chops of course.

Man you sure have made the most out of your move to TX. Well done for sure.
    Cheers, Ken

Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.
