Is this something that could be used for fishing the delta for stripers?

Can you tell I know _zero_ about fishing in the delta?

Can you (should you) eat those stripers or is the water too yucky?

Thanks (from a trout guy who is looking for more places to fly fish).

I think that boat would be very good in the Delta for LMB and Stripers.

I would eat them, from the ocean or from the reservoirs.

    Something under 10 pounds.....

I think that may be a Columbia boat. I believe they built a few of those hulls, as I saw one advertised in Washington awhile back. $2500 is a good buy, assuming the wood is in good shape. That is my biggest concern about any older boat, other than the motor. Good news is the transoms are not terribly hard to replace, especially if you can do passable finish glass work. The Chrysler (Force) motor wouldn't be your first choice either but there are still parts around if you look.

I hope you guys can see from the photos what a cool boat this is for a really low price.

We never see boats like this on the west coast.

    It is still for sale.

I hope someone here buys it.

I would but I am "boated out" right now.
