Default Fishing was so good even Bill "fishngy" caught fish

Tons of fish in the lake right now, they dropped off another load today. I caught 2 fish on my first 3 cast and it continued like that for about 2 or 3 hours. Caught one good one and a ton of 12-14 inch rubber trout. Ran into lots of friends and had a great time. Get out there while the getting is still good.

    Default WTF...its a hatchery truck

The GBF fly club had a fishout today, and while we wore getting ready this hatchery truck pulls up with a very big load of trout 1.7 lbs each....Scott right about getting out there soon before the water temp. goes up.
The lake water temp. was 58 degrees today and the fish and game person said the hatchery water temp. is 51 degrees, so if the water temp. is 10 degrees more than the hatchery temp. they couldn't plant the trout. This could be why those big trout for the derby disappeared into the depths of the lake for cooler water. The good news is those big trout are starting to pop up looking for food.

There is a lot of trout in Rancho Seco now.

    The swarm of trout.

The smile of a nice day.

Interesting observation, in the last couple of years there were dead honey bee's all over the place. This year they were not there.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
