Hey all. Been awhile since I posted. I moved to colorado a couple months ago. As much as I enjoyed the fishing in California, it sure is nice to be home. This was from my first trip out after moving back.

And yeah Jason, THAT fly works out here too
Hope the fishing is treating you all well!

Dude! That's quite a catch, on 7x tippet no less. Glad to see you're still getting some quality fishing in. Btw, for me THAT fly has been producing as well if not better than most on quite a few fishy days out east and west. I have tried a few variations that also work well too.
    Cheers,
    JB

I love Colorado, been there 3 times so far, twice to Durango and once to Colorado Springs. I hope to get back there soon, where are you?
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

    Default Cirano The Trout

Is it just me..or is that one strange snout on the trout? P.S. never take night time cold meds during the day.

Where in Colorado did you catch such a NICE fish. The reason I ask is I am visiting my Son who lives close to Colorado Springs and I would like to spend some time throwing some bugs on some creeks or streams, and what is "THAT" fly of which you speak.

Thanks all. Havent been able to fish but a couple times. Pretty crazy work schedule. But its nice to be back in Colorado.

The fishes lower jaw was really crooked, thats what makes its head look funny. Kind of a bummer, but still a really cool fish to me.

The fly is just a real simple BWO pattern I came up with last year that has done really well for myself and some friends.

Hope everyone has a kickass spring season!
