    Default The Lower A is picking up already......

    Doug Duncan has pick up one fish each for the last 3 days.

    Mark Kranhold sent me this note and picture of a recent fish:

    "Denis O'Reirden with his first fly caught steelhead on the American. On a swung fly as well, nice way to break into the addiction!"

    **This is a nice hatchery buck so lets not go bananas on this guy for not taking the photo under water or something like that.

    That buck was harvested, and he said it had very red meat. Hatchery fish are for eating, and DFG wants you to keep them. I just don't care for the taste, I personal like white meat ocean fish myself. I had 3 fish on Monday and lost them all, the two I saw were bright chrome and in the 6-8 lb range.

    Good for the smoker and bad for the gene pool.

    I know exactly where that photo was taken...

    It's the most secret spot on the river and very hard to access, so just don't bother trying to find it.

    For everybody thats curious I can tell you that that fine steelhead was caught in washington a 14 hour drive away. You can probably catch this push of fish if you leave now...


    Haha good to see the A kicking out some nice fish again.
