Default Guide Report - Trinity River

The river is still low and crystal clear; and while that presents some challenges (casting mending and feeding...quietly) there are some really nice fish to be hooked and released. It seems that some slightly larger fish are moving in up river from Pigeon Point all the way to Lewiston. We found fish from 24 to 28 inches, all hatchery fish. We boated 5 and missed a few more and had about 10 to 12 takes between two fishermen.

The weather is holding and there is some light rain on the way so the next couple of weeks should be prime. Give me a call or send me a PM if you'd like to see one of these brutes close up. Check out my web site for more pics and other fishing opportunities.
