Hurts!
Getting back home and reading that WSS is closing is a painful thing.
Growing up in West Marin and having my brother turn me on the the idea of flyfishing when I was 10, WSS was the first place I wanted to go whenever I went "over the hill". These guys were great then and they were great when I stopped in a few years back to buy a gift for a friend.
Back in the early sixties the guys there walked me through everything and one of them even took the time to show me how to tie a fly. I would go there and spend hours and they never cared a bit. Bought my first fly line, reel, leaders, flies and fly tying kit from them (I still have that cheap little vice and the bobbin on my table)
Later on bought my second shotgun from them and them my re-loading kit as well.
Sad news....
