    Default Color of the fish

    I think what most people are missing is the color of the fish. The fish is still bright gold. If you have ever seen a brown trout spawner it is brown and black with shades of orange.

    It looks like a male, but no kype. If a female it doesn't have a belly full of eggs. My guess is the fish just came up from the lake.... My take is that it is a legitimate pre-spawner. Congrats on a nice fish!!

    Now that's a Brown , it was about 12lbs before i squeezed the eggs out of it. I had my camera crew stand back for the still photo.. By the way i caught this on a Lima bean. It's been fun!
