Post THE GRAB - Wild Steelhead movie

    Hello Everyone.

My name is Jeremy Quinlan and I am producing a Spey fishing for Steelhead movie called THE GRAB! Jason Hartwick, from Steelhead On The Spey, and I have been fishing and filming all over this fall. We've had some really fantastic days on the water, and that is in no small part, due to Jason's knowledge and experience as a top-notch Steelhead guide. Really, no joke, I've been standing in a circle, listening to discussions he's had with other guides and locals and my head spins trying to keep up with everything he has packed into his young mind! If you're a Spey fisherman and want to fine-tune your technique, gain some water knowledge or just be led into some nice fish, contact this guy. He's an up-and-coming star in the Steelhead world, not to mention a talented tyer and photographer.

I'm pleased to say that the first teaser/trailer for the movie is done and up and running on Vimeo and YouTube and getting quite a bit of traffic. We've been fortunate to have many other blogs, websites and channels grabbing THE GRAB and hooking up. It's been featured in a lot of places, but I wanted to make sure the fishing community in SAC and NorCal are hearing the scream of the reel.

I'd also like to say thanks to Aaron, Bill and Andy at Kiene's for their undisputed attention, loyalty and support throughout the process. They are a great group of guys and good friends of the fly fishing community. Thanks Kiene's!

Please check out the trailer at the Vimeo link:

...and please check out our Facebook page, THE GRAB and www.thegrabmovie.com for updates, new pictures, stories of our adventures and other nonsense. I'd love to hear what you have to say!

    thanks for all your support,
Jeremy Quinlan - Weight Forward Films

I am a little old for that winter fishing but might have to just go for it if I want to catch a big wild chromer on my Spey rod.

    I've got Bieber fever!!!

Sammy, I am looking for soundtrack possibilities. If you want to send me some tracks, send them to weightforwardfilms@gmail.com, or let me know where I can download them from. I always love to hear new music.

Bill, come on, you're never too old for Winter chrome!
