Hey all
We're doing a spey day with Bill Lowe coming up. A perfect chance to get tuned up for winter steelhead or hear things from a new perspective.

Curious what all the chatter is about the long rods and the beautiful lines whipping around the air? Is it fishing or is it a new dance? Check out my Basic Spey Casting clinic and get all the answers for yourself. This class is limited to 8 casters and each person will be provided a well-balanced spey outfit for use for the day. We will be casting Sage 6 and 7-weight spey and switch rods, the perfect size and weight for most of the valley rivers, and you will have the opportunity to cast several different outfits during your class. You will learn how to rig up an outfit properly, choose the correct line for the situation, learn a switch cast and either a double-spey or snap-T (as well as what these terms mean!?).

When: Saturday, December 17
Where: Sunrise River Access, Pennsylvania Avenue and Fair Oaks Blvd.
What time: Nine o’clock until three o’clock (45 minute lunch break)
Cost: $150 per student (spey rods, reels, and lines are included)
Need: Waders, boots, hat, glasses, and a sack lunch (waters are provided)

How to sign up: Call Kiene’s Fly Shop (916.486.995, or drop by the store and deliver a personal check, made payable to Bill Lowe, for $150.00. Bill is unable to process credit cards.
