Kathys birthday was on the 30th and she wanted to get away from civilization and that means only one thing to me, a lake with fish. So off we went to Frenchman in the RV with our kitties. Got to the lake on Friday and found an almost empty campground. Fished the lake from shore in the evening and caught a couple little guys that were rising. Started the next day at about 10:00 and got into a nice 19" right of the bat, it turned into a very nice day with great weather and fish rising most of the time. If you could throw to the fish within a few seconds of them rising you would either get that fish or one of its friends. Sunday was the same way, plenty of fish with the average size around 17" and the biggest at 19". Beautiful weather and great fishing, water temp was 52 - 54, just what the trout like.
I decided to try and get artistic with my fish shots.
Here is a fish trying to eat Kathy.
As always all fished released to grow into bigger fish!!!
