    Default Kings Canyon and Seqouia

    Hi everyone. I may make an overnight trip to these parks tomorrow till Wednesday. How is the fishing and any general areas I should try?

    if you're headed up there the for a quick trip the easiest area to fish is from boyden cave to cedar grove. about a 45 min drive from the park entrance. Just check at the ranger station to make sure the road is open. if you want to know flies that work send me a pm. There are a couple campsite locations along the road. try to stay a couple hundred yards away from them and you'll catch more fish.

    Both Sheep Creek and Canyon View campgrounds are opened until about the second week of November. The lodge is still opened also. Water is gin clear!

    Oh I almost forgot, in Sequoia a good low level camp is Potwisha. All the water from the park entrance to Hospital Rock is good and can yield some large fish. The terrain is very rugged, hot (although cooling now), and has plenty of our favorite friends.
