Good morning everyone. I have never tied any streamers so I am looking for some simple patterns to start with. I like bunny leaches but I'm open to any ideas. I'll be swinging them on a 6wt. switch rod.

Just a thought.... How about a 'Near Nuff Sculpin It's close in shape to a Wooly Bugger, can be weighted as heavy or light as wanted, colors (materials) can be varied and is easy to tie....

I've been having some sucess with a sculpin pattern (two schoolie stripers and a 20" steelie). I found this Easy Scuplin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzn2Sopz7u0
Both of these patterns look great! Thank you for the info.
Any more out there?

I like a BH Wooly Bugger on the YUBA..
Tail & Hackle = Black (some black Krystal flash in the Tail)
Body = Peacock Ice Chenille
Rib = Silver Wire, counter ribbed over the Hackle
Bead = Nickel
this pattern got me my Best Day ever Steelheading, and on the Yuba to boot... 8 Steelhead in 2 hours, under a steady but light rain.... Oh yeah baby!!!
I'm sure it will work for you as well..

I tied up some "bunny leeches" in black and green. If you are new to tying these are the way to go. Very quick and easy. I found the pattern by doing a google search for "rabbit streamers". Thanks again.
