Default Most trout lakes are very good in October!

In September it is still a little warm but by October it really starts to cool down at night.

The top of the lakes cool and the fish come up shallow and into the shore to feed.

November can still be good but it can also turn very cold making the fish less active.

Try to get up there again in October as the fish get active and feed up for winter.

**Davis Lake can be very good in October......the fish seem to hit most anything.

Trying to decide between Fuller and Indian Creek for a day trip tomorrow, Friday. This is a "numbers" trip for my daughter. Maybe Fuller is the best bet?

If you go to Fuller tomorrow please let me know how you did. I'm taking a buddy up there Saturday and am hoping to get him into some fish. They just planted so it should be good.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
