Left early Saturday morning to fish the Clarks Fork. We arrived around 10ish with the temps in the upper forties. Skies were bright blue and sunny with the highs in the low seventies, just a beautiful day. Alas, I could not get anything to shore. I had five hook ups losing everyone after just seconds My son managed one to shore after losing one. Our friend had three hook-ups with none to shore either. I've never had problems fishing barbless, but I have to wonder if this was the problem. Anyhow, the river is perfect and plan to get back there before the snow starts. I'll try to add pictures tomorrow.
