Went there last week, road in is about 4 miles with a 1.25 mile walk down to lake. Road is narrow, fairly steep but not to bad, used 4x4 for this one. Would not like to meet another vehicle going up or comming down as there is not many pull overs. But I was there during the week and only one truck there when I got there and two when I left. Got 4 Tiger Trout, 4-5 brookies, and one rainbow or cuthroat, not sure, as I did a fast catch and release. Beautiful 10 acre lake that is great for floating line. The hatches were intense, some rises but I was using a type 1 full sink, Cortand 444 Camo. But would switch off between the floating and full sink. I have heard that it gets pretty busy on weekends with the 4x4 crowd. Nice and close to Carson City.
