I have a ACR 1296. This rod is a absolute gem to cast. It is probably one of my favorite rods to cast.
Craig - just checked Kiene's Spey Page site for a number of recommendations depending on type of line system you want

Very happy with the 12-6 , 6 wt. Platinum by Beulah. Affordable, and throws a Skagit Flight a mile. "well not littreally"
"God grant me the serenity to accept the size of fish that I catch, the courage not to fib about it, and the wisdom to know that no one would believe me any way".
What reel should be matched up to a 12 6 6wt spey?
just an additional thought - you might consider stepping down a size to a 5 wt - I have Anderson's original 1204 - it is closer to a 5 than a 4 and I throw a 375 RIO Skagit short on it - this rod is really all you need on rivers such as the GR though no question a 6 would be ok on these rivers. But with a 375 I can easily throw T-11 tips and heavy flies
Not sure why the public is not interested in the U.S., but check out the Loop series that they have to offer. Whether it is sibngle hand or double handed rods. Have had both for years. Excellent reels. Go to Looptackle .com.
