Until we are on the waters of La Ventana fishing for dorado, yellow fin, roosters and hopefully a few marlin. I got a report with a few pictures and looks like there are some dorado off the south end of Cerralvo. A few that have been caught are in the 40lb range
One rooster was boated around 50lbs, some YFT up to 50lbs already chewing on the food.
I'm hoping things hold out and get even better. So far they've been lucky and not a lot of bad weather. The temps this week are hovering around the high 90's to low 100's, with the real temp feeling around 114 degrees. I'd say that's a little bit of humidity. I'm tying flies like a madman hoping to have the right color, size and pattern for the big tuna, hell I'd even settle for a big dorado.
Anyways, I still have one slot left for the Oct. 1 - 8th trip. Anyone want to put a bend in the rod? Email or call me if you're interested
