    Default Spring in California

    On Saturday I took a good friend who is back from living in Chamonix on a drive to show him that even though he's not in the Alps anymore, we don't have it all that bad. Especially on an 800" snow year.

    Lot's of Alpenglow from 10k


    North aspects are still buried


    Still frozen lakes


    Looks like they'll have to replow after tuesday


    Hauling a rope and rack was well worth it




    My buddy totally forgot he was back in CA...for a day.
