Hi Bill,
I just got back from my trip to the Restigouche River in Matapedia Quebec. Unfortunately, the conditions were less than ideal. Warm weather, mixed with rain and snow melt caused the river to rise about 5 feet in 2 days. We actually lost one day of fishing due to the high water level. Amazingly, the water fell as fast as it rose, so by day 3 the level was close to normal. Most of the trip ended up being casting practice for my new two-handed rod. I did however, manage to hook the only salmon that was caught in our group (see attached pics). Although not a trophy, it was a nice reward for the effort. Thanks for all your help in selecting the proper equipment, your staff and service are great. You will most certainly hear from me again in the future.
Sincerely,
Brad C
