Identification please

This bug is about 1/2 inch long. We think it might be a cockroach. It is in my friends house.

Yeah pretty sure that's a german cockroach. The good news is that they prefer to live outside instead of inside unlike most of the other roaches we see. Probably flew inside coming to a a lightsource at night, as they are pretty good fliers as well, again unlike most of the other winged roaches around here.
