Napa Area (Yountville)

Heading up for a friend's 50th B-Day party in mid-May, and curious if it was worthwhile to bring up some gear for the local area waters.

Anyone have any thoughts? I am more comfortable fishing streams than rivers (or rivers which look like streams), and will likely only have a few hours in the early morning to get a line wet.

Lake Hennessee for Bass and Trout. Lower Napa River in Napa for stripers. Or if your friend has any connections for the local ponds that is an option as well.
