I think I'll pass....I've had enough excitement in my life in the past 66 years.
If you were going to fish a little I could be interested. I could rig an old feather duster (indicator) and round up a few 1 oz. egg sinkers. Is there a speed limit on that part of the river?
I think Posse Grounds is closed, but you can back your trailer down the I-5 off ramp at Cypress and launch from there...
I've got next Wednesday scheduled...we'll see if it drops into any kind of shape.
Me and Bear Grylls are gonna fashion a raft out of sticks and float down it to try and find civilization quicker
On Monday the 28th, the Redding paper indicated that the County was going close boating activity on the river.
Just got back last nite from skiing at Mt. Shasta. The flow on the lower is insane, and the upper won't be fishable for some time. The amount of water content and the depth of the snow are going to make a great year for water, but will delay the fishability for some time. Lake Shasta is almost full, and we have not started true runoff except the low elevation snow. Lake Siskiyou is also full making my back-up spot tuff to fish. ( Ney Springs). All is good, plenty of full lakes to fish till the flows drop. Tight Lines at your back up spots. ( Lakes)
