Around 2004, I started painting poppers with vinyl lure paint. The fumes from that paint are really strong. It seemed like the fumes dissipated when stored on a drying rack, in my shed, but after placing these poppers in a closed box years after they were made, the fumes are back (albeit of lesser strength). I should add that a covering coat of Sally Hansens didn't change it much. Vinyl paint has some great qualities to it (e.g. holds color, flexible, dries quickly, etc.).
I'm curious whether anyone else has used this type paint and what was done (short of throwing the poppers out) to eliminate the fumes Any recommendations for a better type of paint for making poppers
