    Default More Yuba Gold

I'm not going to say exactly where this beautiful fish came from except that it did come from one of the lower Yuba drainages. Deer Creek? Dry Creek? etc.?

My buddy here Bill Siler, took two like this a couple of weeks ago dredging wooly buggers on a sinkling line. His fishing partner for the day was Mike Searcy of Star Bait & Tackle who also took six nice rainbows using the same technique.

With a lot of these small creeks running into bigger streams and ponds it becomes a gathering place for food drifting in and fish concentrate in those areas.

    Default Yuba Gold

OK!-----My secret fishing spot was Collins Lake. It was my 1st attempt at trout on a fly w/o a guide. Just out killing the day waiting for the Stripers to warm up on the Feather River.
