Yes the fish was released. I am catch and release only... Yes the fish is a hatchery fish. I caught it in a Delayed Harvest section.

Whether this is a planter or not it is still a very nice fish on a 2wt. Good Job.

    Default CPR

Nice fish! Makes me look forward to fishing my 3wt for the first time this spring. Thanks for the photo! I'm going to be in Charlotte in May, would it be wise to pack my rod?

Instead of C&R, how about CPR: Catch, Photo, and Release...

Yes bring your fly rod. There are many Delayed Harvest sections to fish just a couple of hours away. If you have the time try the Davidson River. Big fish but you have to use small midges. If you need help finding a place to fish or a guide I can put you on the fish. You can email me at -maflyfishing@bellsouth.net
