No it's not the Easter good friday. Today was a fabulous day on the water. Early morning west wind but laid down around 9:30am.. It's great that the bait is so close and the boys can have you out on the waters in no time.
We fished the Bajo (the channel) Every buoy we hit had at least 20 to 30 dorado hanging around. It's a no brainer, when you approach the buoy and from 50 yards out you see big boils. Cut the engine and drift into the buoy. The first casts didn't even need bait as soon as your fly hit the water - FISH ON! They were around 10 to 12lbs. Long story short, we C&R at least 30 dorado this morning and kept 5 bigger ones for the captains family and my manager here in La Paz.

All in all, a fantastic dorado trip with a few tuna added to the stack
