    Default Draft Report on Delta Water Flow and Species of Concern

    DFG released documents for public review/comment outlining objectives for flow regimes through the delta. Amazingly enough they found that more fresh clean water yields greater species survival. The report focuses greatly on the area of saltwater intrusion (defind as X2 in the report). Remarkably, as X2 gets closer to the golden gate, (indicating greater amounts of fresh water in the system) species survival goes up. who would have guessed.
