Default Sycamore Campground & RV Park on the Yuba River

Can some of you that have been up to Sycamore talk about how it is now that it is a county park?

    How is the vehicle security?

It got bought by the county and is now pretty much vacant as people go...safe as any place on a river.

Is it still a place to camp? The old web site is down so it's hard to figure out anything about it remotely. Thanks!

    Thumbs up Sycamore Ranch....

Since it's now a county park, info about it is on the Yuba County website. There will be camping for an individual rate of $20.00 daily. Day use will remain free. There's a groundskeeper who will reside there. The park is currently 90 acres but will expand when development is finished. Check it out. Google Sycamore Ranch.

Yes there is a fee for day use, just as before, but now its self pay. 5 bucks, camping is still allowed there, and it is self pay as well. And yes no more shuttle. I have camped there and its pretty nice. Bring you bug spray but other than that its really nice. not to many places you can camp in CA and have green grass under your tent. LOL.
