After thinking about it a bit I think the idea of a pram day at Fuller might be pretty fun. I know there's lots of different prams out there, it would be cool to see a bunch of them together. Maybe just let folks take our babies out for a little spin, see what it's all about.

The third week in July seems innocuous enough for starters. We can strip 'em down for test runs from anyone who wants then replace batteries and motors and get serious for the evening bite.

Michaeln, you could probably sell yours right there on the spot.

Prammers, chime in if you want to do this, and tell us what kind of pram you have.

I'll start it out, mine's the Black Pearl, an 8ft aluminum Metalhead.

BTW, looks like Michael sold the boat (ashore? Hallelujah!!) so perhaps he'll bring his new rubber duckie to play in and have the new owner take the boat out as well!

That'd be great. We could have a peeing on the tuber contest.

You would be allowed to pee back in self defense of course.

I know a guy with a sweet little 10ft Outback that should be able to make it.

If I can get a dozen prams for this I'll do the, sheesh, hosting thing.

I can do a BBQ, but I draw the line at silly games or stupid contests.

What I'd like to pull off is a gathering of many different styles and makes of prams.

How close can you get a vehicle to the banks?

At the dam end of the lake I can back up to the boulders, drag my pram off the rack, roll it right side up right at the waterline.

There's also a boat ramp, pretty easy either way.

Yep, sold my pram to Don Rotsma a couple weeks back, so I am now just using my North Fork Outdoors Outlaw Rampage (oars only, no motor). Never having been to Fuller, I don't know how suitable a motorless boat is there. Although it is super seaworthy, it works best on smaller bodies of water because of the weak motor (me).
